Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a guided meditation meant to take the practitioner's body into a deep sleep while maintaining consciousness. We will begin the class with very gentle asana (yoga poses) to prepare the body for relaxation, then the students will lie on the ground with the assistance and comfort of props, while the teacher guides them through different scenarios to encourage the students into a deep sleep state. This class can help reduce stress and anxiety as well as help those with insomnia or other sleeping disorders. Please join Becky Kunkel as she guides you through this deeply relaxing practice. Yoga for Fibromyalgia (a 6-Week Series)

This is a 6-Week Yoga Series designed for those suffering from Fibromyalgia. Students will learn to move their bodies in a gentle, safe way and learn to relax tense and tight areas for a better quality of life. Led by Jessica Mayberry, 500 hour certified accessible yoga instructor and yoga therapist, this class will be a great opportunity for students suffering from chronic pain to learn to trust their bodies again and find peace with their bodies and minds. Space for this class is extremely limited, so don't delay in signing up using the ticket link!


Tentative Class Itinerary:

Week 1: Joyful Joints

Week 2: Gentle Upper Body movements in and using a chair

Week 3: Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Week 4: Movement and Gentle Strengthening using the wall and while standing

Week 5: Deeply relaxing movement on the floor with the assistance of a chair

Week 6: Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra


Early Bird Pricing for series is $100 (paid for by May 20).

Pricing after that is $120 for series.

Students must commit to entire series; individual class attendance is not allowed. Most classes are an hour in length. The first week may be a little shorter, and the restorative classes (weeks 3 and 6) may be longer (~1 1/2 hours).

Yoga for Stress and Anxiety

ALL LEVELS WELCOME! Experience yoga like never before. Learn to reconnect with your body in a safe environment. In this class, students will learn tools to help deal with stress and anxiety in everyday life including breathing techniques (pranayama), calming and centering techniques through meditation, and postures for physical relief. Join Jessica Mayberry, trauma-informed yoga instructor, through different physical movements and breathwork and learn to connect mind and body and how to calm both even during stressful times. Plenty of options will be given, but feel free to come just to sit and breathe in a safe place. Class is $10 and will last from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on student needs.

Surrounded by some of the humane society's adoptable cats, enjoy some gentle stretches and kitty kisses, while supporting a good cause. The cost is a minimum donation of $10 and all the proceeds will go to Cheaha Regional Humane Society, Inc in their efforts to re-home some wonderful local pets.
