What is Yoga Therapy?
The IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) defines Yoga Therapy as “the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga.”
Yoga Therapy addresses more than just the physical concerns of an injury or condition. It addresses the physical, emotional, mental, as well as so much more to help the student learn to overcome trauma in order to find healing. The therapist teaches the student tools to bring about change in their own body and life.
