Jessica Mayberry

Owner, yoga therapist, Instructor, 500RYT, Accessible Yoga Ambassador, Buti yoga and DEEP yoga certified, additional training in therapeutic yoga structuring, trauma-informed yoga, and special populations including those with chronic pain

Jessica has been practicing yoga since 2016. She discovered yoga on a health journey and began practicing Buti yoga. From there, she found how yoga can heal everything from your body to your mind, your spirit, and beyond. She obtained her first teaching certificate in Buti yoga in December of 2016. She then received her 200 hour certificate in 2017 with HereNowYoga in Birmingham, Alabama—an Alignment-based training, and her 500 hour certificate in December 2018 with Etowah Valley Yoga in Cartersville, Georgia. She is currently completing training to become a yoga therapist.

Her passion for teaching is in the therapeutic and healing world of yoga. She strives to make her classes truly accessible to anyone that walks into the studio. She works with clients suffering from Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, and other forms of chronic pain, and offers classes and props to assist students that struggle with getting up-and-down from the ground. Her desire is to help each individual find peace with themselves and their bodies.

Chelsea Timmons

Buti yoga instructor

Chelsea has been certified in Buti yoga since July 2018 and has been practicing Buti for almost two years. She first found the class when she was looking for a new workout that was well rounded after having her child. After her first class, she was hooked. She loved the full body workout that was mixed with tribal dancing, cardio, plyometrics, and traditional yoga movements. Buti also has a beautiful message; “Love your body now and the journey you are on.”  She knew it was something she wanted to share.

After being a stay-at-home mom for almost two years, Chelsea took the plunge in May of 2018 to get certified and received her certificate in July. She loves teaching and spreading the joy of Buti to others.  In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys running, painting, sports, and spending time with her family. She has a husband Shannon of 3 years, stepson Noah (18), and daughter Piper (2). Chelsea is also a proud veteran, serving 9 years as a medic with the Army National Guard.

Gary Roland

Traditional yoga instructor, 200RYT

Gary first discovered yoga and meditation in 2014 after hitting a low point and finding difficulty in managing his stress and anxiety, trying a lot of things and nothing having worked except having a consistent  yoga practice. Having a passion for challenging himself, sitting still, and lingering in postures became fun. To the point where in August of 2018, Gary would go on to receive his 200RYT certification from Zen Den Yoga School in Boca Raton, Florida. Gary has a strong background in Vinyasa, Hatha and meditative forms of yoga and wants one thing from everyone he encounters: to be their authentic self.

Becky “Callie” Kunkel

Accessible yoga instructor, 200RYT, with additional training in Chair Yoga and Senior Adult yoga

Becky has been practicing yoga for six years, but wanted more from the practice. She wanted to learn more about yoga, from the roots up, and to teach and share with others the energy and calming beauty that yoga brings into one's life. So on January 1, 2018, Becky decided to dive into yoga full force. She attended Jessica's Buti yoga class, and decided to become an instructor. Despite being blind, she attended Teacher Training at HereNowYoga in Birmingham and became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in October of 2018. She is also trained in Chair Yoga and Senior Adult yoga. Becky sees with a vision that yoga and love can make the world a better place.
